We struggle to find the words of reassurance during times of such uncertainty with Covid-19. We pray that you and your loved ones are well.

In response to this situation, we want to provide you with some TIPS & FAQs as we work together to slow the impact of the virus.


To take care of our community, we start by taking care of ourselves. The World Health Organization defines “Health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

  • Handwashing: Washing your hands thoroughly and regularly is the #1 recommendation by the CDC. 
  • What if I can’t wash my hands: There are times when that is not possible. Please follow the Center for Disease Control’s recommendation to health care providers to use alcohol-based sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol. 
  • Protecting Yourself: Please follow these guidelines on person-person contact provided by the CDC: 
  • Positive Thoughts are IN STOCK: We like this quote from a Mayo Clinic article on laughter and health, “Positive thoughts can actually release neuropeptides that help fight stress and potentially more-serious illnesses.”

Q: What is Lillie & Pine doing in response to COVID-19?


We realized that we had all of the ingredients currently on our shelf to produce hand sanitizer. So, we shifted our production on March 19th to make hand sanitizer comprised of 70% alcohol to protect and soothe your hands during frequent hand-washing. The response has been overwhelming. They are available in 2 oz. bottles with a suggested limit of 2 per/person. You can order more on behalf of others. Please note shipping times may be 1-2 days longer as these products ship USPS and UPS Ground.

A. GIVING 10% BACK: As part of our mission to be of service, we are giving 10% of our sales back to local businesses, starting with one close to our hearts, The Spotlight Theatre. We can’t wait to hand them a check (or wait, a Venmo payment). Sara and Brent do amazing work with local community theatre and summer workshops. Q: Can I order more than 2 Hand Sanitizers if I’m buying for others?

A: Yes. We are a small family business and this policy runs on the honor system. We trust you and appreciate how you look out for others.  

Q: Can I place one order and ship to multiple locations?

A: No. This is a new question we’ve been getting. Our system isn’t set up for that, so it’s one order/per location.

Q: Is your Hand Sanitizer alcohol based? What are the ingredients?

A: Yes, it’s 70% alc/vol. See full list on product page.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: $9/2 oz bottle. Raw materials and packaging have become difficult and expensive to acquire. Recent shipping regulations require hand sanitizer to be shipped via ground by USPS and UPS which makes shipping costs more expensive. We are committed to providing our customers with this product and are hopeful to lower the price when production materials are more plentiful and less expensive.

Q: How can I order Lillie & Pine products?

Shopping Online: Our online store remains open, 7 days a week/24 hours a day at We continue to offer free shipping over $35. Curbside pick-up is not available.

  • Thursday Pop-Up Shop: Our weekly Pop-Up Shop on Thursdays is temporarily suspended. We look forward to seeing you in the shop soon. In the meantime, enjoy our online store! 

Q: Will you keep re-stocking the classic products?

A: We are doing our best to keep your favorite products in stock. We apologize when you see a product that is “currently out of stock” at the time of your order. We have cancelled all of our dedicated volunteers who make things happen at Lillie & Pine. They’ll be back as soon as it is safe to help us get any sold-out items restocked. We are still making products every day and our priority is hand sanitizer stock levels.
